Have been road racing on and off in New Zealand for more than 15 years.
Started in the late 80's but struggled to be able to afford the sport and raced intermittently only.
Took a few years off and came back to the sport properly (and with some money!) in the late 90's. Raced a Yamaha R6 and achieved a number of respectable results with wins in the Auckland series, the Tim Gibbes run Suzuki series and some top three finishes in national 600cc races and street races.
Took another couple of years off then moved on to racing in the superbike class on a 2004 Kawasaki ZX10R - this was a challenge, but was also a lot of fun! Raced a 2005 Kawasaki ZX10R the following year also but the cost of competing in the superbike class meant a return to the Formula 3 class in 2007.
I won the 2008 and 2009 Formula 3 National title and am currently still competing in the class.
